Our Story

BelleVie Stationery, before it even got its name, was first conceived when I made a video on my YouTube platform about the tools and resources (mainly stationery products) that I use during my quiet time and bible study. Immediately after recording that video, I heard the whisper in my heart, “You love stationery so much, why not create yours?” I keyed into that thought and decided to go the print-on-demand route. I quickly realized that was not the right path for me. The instruction was to create a high quality, carefully and thoughtfully designed stationery product that would serve women who are trying to balance and navigate life in the different roles they fill.

However, my dream to start such a business was placed on the back burner for a little over two years until I was awakened from a dream and that same Voice telling me, “It is time to start.” That was how BelleVie Stationery was born!

Meet Enna, The Founder & Creator

I used to hate anything that had to do with artistic creativity, such as drawing, painting, decorating, etc. I sucked at it. A day came in middle school when I had to pick an elective and my only option was either an Art class or a Speech class. “Why oh why, why me?”, was what I cried. I hated both. Remember I said I hated and sucked at drawing, well, there was something worse than that which I feared the most, and that is speaking in front of anyone let alone in front of a group of people (that’s a story for another day). So, I had no choice but to sign up for the Art class (sigh). I told myself, if I can pass this class with even a C as my letter grade, that, my friend, is success. There was no point trying to aim for a higher grade.

But guess what, I had the most amazing teacher. He took the time with me and brought out a talent hidden inside of me that I never knew existed. Long story short, some of my drawings and paintings ended up in our school’s Art competition and I always placed in the top three. Who would have ever known that God had deposited such gifting and talent inside of me that was almost truncated by inability to recognize or discern my own creative abilities.

I have always been an avid lover and user of stationery products. Ok fine, more like I have always been obsessed with stationery products. There is something about getting my hands on new paper products that sends joy to my soul. From the crisp scent of the paper to its texture as I turn the pages and to the color of the paper, I love them all. I love the beautiful, vibrant colors of pens, markers, and highlighters.

And let us not forget sticky notes! Oh, sticky notes, how I love thee! But I never desired creating a stationery brand until the dream was planted in my heart. BelleVie Stationery was birth when God planted the dream inside my heart to create a stationery brand that inspires and encourages women as they journey through life dreaming, planning, acting on their plans, and achieving their visions and goals. A stationery brand that would remind women to keep Him at the center of all their dreaming and planning as inspired by the scripture Jeremiah 29:11.

Our Name

I chose the name BelleVie because it represents what I want my life and others to become, which is a “Beautiful Life.” BelleVie is a French word that means “Beautiful Life.” It serves as a reminder for me and I hope to others that we are to live each day according to our highest values, which is what makes for a beautiful life!

A butterfly (hidden in the midst of the name).

The life cycle of a butterfly emulates the cycle of transformation that took place in my life within the last five to six years. I could parallel seasons of my transformation with the life cycle of a butterfly. So, it was only right that I included it as part of my brand.

As you can see, a lot of thought and care went into the creation of BelleVie Stationery. My hope is that as you welcome my brand into your home, everything that it represents will inspire and encourage you each day to live your life, daily, to your highest values.

BelleVie Stationery is more than just a stationery brand. It is a sanctuary for those who believe in the transformative power of pen and paper. It is a haven where ideas take flight, dreams find expression, and goals become reality.

These are all what I embody. I understand that each day that I live is a gift from above and I am determined to make the most out of it. (P.S, having gone through so much in life that almost ended my existence, I made this slogan my resolve). And my hope is that does the same for others.
